My trumpet idol is, was, and will always be Rick Braun. I will never forget hearing him on the radio in 1995. "Who is that?" Everything that came out of his horn is special, new, and says something. I needed to hear more, and more importantly try to emulate his soulful and stunning sound!
I've met Rick several times on Dave Koz cruises, and heard him countless times in-person. Each show is even better than the last!
I owe so much to you, Rick!

Even though I don't play sax, I also am greatly inspired by Mr. Dave Koz. His cruises are the best, his playing is the best, and most of all, his kindness is THE BEST! Thanks, Dave!
